   Every repair facility that is on a direct repair program must accept some concessions in order for the               insurance company to send them work. Some examples of these concessions are:


  • Repairing panels that should be replaced
  • Using junkyard parts instead of new
  • Using counterfeit parts instead of original equipment parts
  • (Cycle Time) Pushing to have your car repaired as quickly as possible, with no regard to quality, to save them money on rental fees
  • They are not allowed to inform you about the right of appraisal 
  • They are not allowed to inform you about diminished value
  • They are not allowed to advise you on the value of your vehicle in a total loss situation
  • There are many more concessions


? Ask the direct repair facility to see the contract they have with the insurance company.
